I can hardly believe I'm talking Autumn but I am!
We're still in zoom-land but my pilates schedule kicks off on Tuesday 4th August.
I have 3 classes running:
Beginners 12pm - 1pm Foundational 6pm - 7pm (Improvers / Intermediate) Core 7:05pm - 8:05pm (Intermediate / Advanced)
All three are sold as 8 week blocks because we work progressively. All classes are recorded and a replay available to allow you to make up any missed classes in a week.
It's £80 for the 8 classes with an introductory offer of your first class for, just email me to book either way at firstname.lastname@example.org
Beginners also get a copy of my free Guide - Understanding the Pilates ABCs: A quick start guide to help you get more out of your pilates practice. ABC stands for alignment, breathing and centring (core stability), which are your building blocks of any good pilates practice. You can read more about them here to get you started!
You will also join a wonderful private Facebook community who support, encourage and lift each other up. If you are feeling frustrated, bored or lonely in lockdown this is the group for you. We also share simple hints, tips and resources on how to live a balanced and healthy life, keep stress at bay and I'm always on hand to answer any pilate Q&As, often dropping in handy 'How To' videos.
On that note, my YouTube channel has a 'How To' playlist that breaks down some of the more popular (and challenging) pilates exercises, giving tips on alignment, breathing and getting the most out of those core muscles.
News on equipment based pilates classes are coming later including the very new HIP Pilates (High Intensity Power Pilates), which i've just completed training for. If you think you couldn't break a sweat in pilates, think again!
My community feedback survey revealed the 3 main reasons they come to pilates:
- to build strength
- to improve posture
- to reduce stress.
I've used pilates for over 15 years for all of those reason and more, including curing my chronic low back pain which I suffered in my early 20s as a result of stress. You can read more about the amazing benefits of pilates in my recent instagram post here.
