It's all very well me telling you how great pilates is so here are my lovely pilates community all eager and willing to back me up. Delighted to feature different clients who are all using pilates to build strength, reduce stress and feel great in whatever it is they do.
What’s your Name?
What class do you attend? Core Pilates via zoom at the moment and then I repeat it during the week on the community replay.
What brought you to pilates?
Originally, back issues. This time round, looking to strengthen and support running to prevent injury!
Why do you love it so much?
I have way better mobility and posture. My sore shoulders from working at a desk all day are also much improved.
After each class I feel more relaxed and also like I can move more easily!
It's a little bit of me time every week, a chance to see some friendly faces (albeit virtually at the moment). My running posture has also improved and I've slowly got faster and stronger.
What motivates you to get on the mat when you don’t feel like you want to?
I know how I will feel afterwards! A tonic for the mind and body!!
Favourite pilates exercise?
Ooh, good question!! I love spine curls as always releases my lower back. Shoulder circles great too though.
What 3 words best describe you?
Determined, optimistic, hungry!
